French poker site BetClic recently announced that they have signed Tony Parker to be in their stable of rep poker players. Tony Parker is a recognized National Basketball Association (NBA) player and he will be representing the website around the world.

Tony Parker has been an NBA Champion three times in his career and he won the NBA Finals MVP in 2007.  He has been playing for the San Antonio Spurs team since 2001. "A great adventure begins," Parker said. "BetClic is a leading company with big ambitions and I am very happy to contribute to its development in the sport during the coming years."

Parker is a professional basketball player but he is often seen at charity poker tournaments. "He is a great ambassador for the brand. Tony represents the strong values of excellence and ethics in sports that we share. This new partnership reflects our commitment to continue our development in the sport by adding great champions to our team," said Nicolas Beraud, creator of BetClic.

BetClic is a very popular poker site in France and is looking for more international exposure.  They also recently signed poker pro Isabelle Mercier to help achieve their goals. BetClic was created in 2005 and has grown to be a very popular site in Europe.

BetClic is also the new owner of both poker brands Expekt and Everest Poker. With the addition of these high profile poker players the site should gain a lot more exposure and popularity in the near future.
