Miami, FL (PRWeb) March 22, 2010 - A slew of Team UB pros are getting ready to build a mountain of chips and ski down a mountain of snow all in support of fighting cancer. UB.com today announced the sponsorship of the V Foundation Charity Poker Tournament. The two-day event set to get underway on March 24th in Reno, Nevada features a charity poker tournament, silent auction, private dinner and a “Take It Downhill” Poker Pro Ski Challenge.
Confirmed to play in the poker tournament and ski challenge are several notable Team UB pros including Brandon Cantu, Adam Levy, Michael Binger, Matt Graham, Tiffany Michelle and Liv Boeree.
Other notable celebrities slated to play in the tournament include baseball all-star Jose Canseco and actor Mekhi Phifer. The tournament will be co-hosted by Trishelle Cannatella, the celebrity endorser for UB.com’s sister site, Absolute Poker.
The majority of the funds raised through the $200+30 rebuy poker tournament will be donated to the V Foundation for cancer research.
